I want a person to be there for me when I break down after being strong for so long, hug me tightly, look me in the eyes and tell me ” I know how much you’ve been through, now come here and just let it all out.”

Beyond frustration…

I’m sooooo frustrated right now…workwise that is. I feel like I’m not going anywhere, I feel like I’m underrated and I don’t feel welcome in my team. Everyone is wearing a mask and no one can be trusted. that’s what I always have to keep in mind:”they’re not friends, they’re co-workers!” otherwise all the drama, all the emotional stress would have gotten me down months ago. I hate going to work, every morning I wish for an accident or something else to safe me from that place.

I don’t know how much longer I can or want to take all that shit. But since I dropped out of school I don’t want to let down my family again. But at the same time I feel like I should start studying again. ughh…someone just shoot me…

What is this thing???

I don’t know where to begin… I feel so confused about my life. Over the past months I’ve lost track of life in a sense. As if I function in slow motion or I completely stopped moving and anyone else is passing me by at the speed of light.

That’s probably why I feel so avoided, left out, lonely, out of place…you name it. Countless times over the past months I’ve noticed that whenever I would interact with Co-workers, Co-students, friends & family they wouldn’t even care if I finished a sentence/story.

I don’t think I am at a place where I belong whether it’s job wise or generally in life.

So, having felt blue/ unhappy for quite a while now, I keep getting these bad inputs. Everything is piling up causing me with the worst heartburn and a constant pain in the stomach. I can’t fall asleep at night unless I watch a dvd at night. Other wise my hypercritical mind gets hold of me.

Fuck this, I don’t want to end up as depressed as I was 2 years ago. How do you get help? I don’t think I have the courage to take the phone and randomly call a therapist, how do you chose one?

When things in your life seem, almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class
and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous ‘yes.’

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

‘Now,’ said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
‘I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else —The small stuff.

‘If you put the sand into the jar first,’ He continued,
there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So…

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

‘Take care of the golf balls first —
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled
‘I’m glad you asked’.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
There’s always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.’

This just left me speechless.. (“:

Life is just…..

loveyourchaos:

Sometimes I get tired.  Not sleepy tired, but just tired of this, of everything, of nothing… of everything that has happened and everything that I can’t stop from happening.  Tired, worn through maybe.  I can’t explain it to someone who has never been exhausted like this, but I need to sleep.  Maybe I’ll wake up not tired one day, one day soon.
